Electronic Trading Support Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Salary: 100,000–150,000 USD per year or local equivalent, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Respond to production issues as the first line of support for the live trading environment.
• Help maintain uptime for market data feeds, order entry connections, and trading algorithms.
• Multitask and prioritize live incidents according to their trading impact.
• Collaborate with other teams during live incidents and communicate clearly under pressure.
• Identify recurring problems and build or improve monitoring tools to increase platform reliability.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or current full-time undergraduate or master’s student in computer science or a related field, eligible for full-time roles in 2026 or 2027.
• Experience with Python and strong computer science fundamentals.
• Understanding of network routing and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux command line.
• Ability to solve problems, remain calm under pressure, multitask, and prioritize production issues.

• Interest in low-level architecture and/or verification.
