Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

What you will do

• Design and build user-facing diagnostic and AI-assisted tooling with React and TypeScript, owning component architecture, state management, and reusable patterns.
• Turn dense, high-cardinality diagnostic data into interactive visualisations and workflows that help customers and engineers identify issues quickly.
• Own frontend performance and quality, including rendering behaviour at scale, bundle and load characteristics, accessibility, and cross-browser correctness.
• Extend APIs and services behind frontend features across Node.js, Java, and SQL, delivering end-to-end solutions with partner teams.
• Collaborate with product management and design on product vision, interaction design, visual decisions, and team planning.
• Build AI-powered features and establish engineering practices, guides, review policies, and quality standards for AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• B.E. or M.E. in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, or an equivalent discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience building modern web applications, with a clear majority of that time spent on frontend work.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, including component and state architecture, performance profiling and optimisation, and abstraction decisions.
• Working proficiency in at least one backend area: Node.js, Java, or SQL, with experience shipping features end to end.
• Experience building data-dense interfaces such as dashboards, tables, charts, or exploratory tooling, including performant visualisation libraries and rendering techniques.
• Strong interaction design and usability skills, with the ability to partner with designers as a peer.
• Experience designing, shipping, or contributing to AI-powered features or LLM-integrated user experiences.
• Practical fluency with AI-assisted development tools, including tool selection, risk mitigation, and strict quality ownership.
• Experience influencing team practices through AI code reviews, team guides, or updated pull-request standards; mastery of testing, code reviews, design documentation, and telemetry instrumentation; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with design systems or shared component libraries used across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with WCAG and building accessible interfaces by default.
• Prior work on developer tools, observability, or diagnostic products.
