Junior Frontend Engineer (Vue)

Location: On-site in Reston, VA, with office attendance required at least four days per week; local candidates preferred.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions for warehouse, distribution, and logistics performance.
• Develop responsive web applications for browsers on web, TV, and mobile devices.
• Build frontend applications with Vue, Nuxt, TailwindCSS, and TypeScript.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain distributed, scalable software in cloud environments.
• Work in an agile process with rapid iteration, continuous integration, Linear task tracking, and Cursor-based development and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or two years of professional Software Engineering experience focused on frontend development.
• Hands-on experience deploying single-page applications built with Vue or Nuxt.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, API libraries, HTTP requests, and user session management.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including Vitest unit testing and automated tests for frontend code.
• Must be able to work on-site in Reston, VA at least four days per week; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience containerizing applications with Docker.
• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes environments.
