Social Media Contractor

Location: Remote contract role based in the United States; must reside in the United States. Austin, TX is the company headquarters.

Salary: $25 per hour, invoiced against agreed weekly deliverables. Scope is up to 20 hours per week.

What you will do

• Create social-first graphics and visual assets in Canva for priority social channels.
• Repurpose blogs, webinars, reports, customer stories, podcasts, newsletters, and other marketing materials into platform-specific social content.
• Draft captions, edit short-form videos, and produce timely news, event, and evergreen content.
• Build, schedule, publish, and QA posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, and other channels.
• Maintain the social media calendar, Linktree, creative libraries, templates, and supporting social properties.
• Monitor communities, respond to comments and messages, escalate sensitive issues, research audience interests, and prepare performance reports.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of social media channel best practices, especially LinkedIn.
• Experience creating social graphics in Canva and editing short-form video content.
• Strong copywriting, copyediting, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with social publishing platforms; Sprout Social experience is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Must reside in the United States and have existing authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
