LiDAR 3D Annotation & Data Labeling Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Create 3D bounding boxes for vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, structures, and other objects in LiDAR frame sequences.
• Perform semantic segmentation of dense point clouds while preventing gaps, overlaps, and misclassifications.
• Review AI-generated annotations and validate LiDAR data against 2D camera feeds for sensor-fusion alignment.
• Track dynamic objects across sequential frames and maintain accurate pitch, roll, yaw, and heading information.
• Apply cuboid, point-density, occlusion, and spatial annotation guidelines while meeting a 95% minimum accuracy target.
• Complete training, benchmark tasks, certification activities, screen-recording procedures, and ongoing project batches.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of hands-on experience with 3D LiDAR point-cloud annotation, 3D semantic segmentation, or multi-sensor data labeling.
• Experience with platforms such as Segments.ai, BasicAI, Cognic, Scale AI, CVAT, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of 3D spatial geometry, bounding boxes, object tracking, occlusion handling, and multi-frame consistency.
• Ability to interpret object orientation and maintain pitch, roll, yaw, and heading-vector consistency.
• High attention to detail, independent working ability, and comfort with structured quality and productivity benchmarks.
• Stable internet access, a capable PC or laptop for 3D rendering and annotation, and compatibility with screen-recording and monitoring software.
