Hardware Testing Engineer (GPS)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; in-office position. Travel requirement: 0–10%.

Salary: $76,700–$105,500 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and release advanced test stations, automated procedures, and diagnostic scenarios for high-performance navigation receivers.
• Analyze system behavior under complex operating conditions to improve test efficiency and product performance.
• Author, maintain, and manage test plans, procedures, and formal qualification reports.
• Support products across the full lifecycle, from proposal and design validation through field sustainability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure product quality, accuracy, and reliability in aviation and inertial navigation applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Hands-on laboratory experience operating signal generators, simulators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python for automated test development and execution.
• Strong experience with formal documentation, data processing, configuration management, and cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• Ability or active status to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.
• Experience managing inertial navigation system testing or complex data manipulation workflows.
