Brand Designer (E-commerce)

Location: New York, New York, United States; in-office 4–5 days per week

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 USD annual base compensation, plus equity.

The Farmer’s Dog provides personalized subscriptions for freshly made, complete and balanced dog food delivered directly to customers.

What you will do

• Create branded marketing and advertising creative for digital, email, social, landing pages, print, and other channels.
• Apply the design system across online retail channels and develop visual ways to communicate the brand story.
• Refine brand standards and guidelines, including visual style, templates, typography, and illustration.
• Work with art directors, copywriters, and production specialists on photography, illustration, and advertising copy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to respond to briefs, brainstorm assets, and identify creative opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a designer role across brand and marketing channels.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in typography, color, imagery, graphic elements, and motion graphics.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Comfort with Sketch and/or Figma and knowledge of standard web design methodologies.
• Experience designing for online retail and e-commerce environments.
• Strong ownership, collaboration, attention to detail, and willingness to propose bold solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with video, animation, and/or art direction.
• A genuine enthusiasm for dogs.
