TL;DR
Event and AV Operations Analyst (AV/Event Operations): Supporting audio-visual operations, live streaming, video production, and event delivery for meetings, broadcasts, and hybrid experiences with an accent on hands-on equipment operation, event logistics, and customer-facing technical support. Focus on conducting technical readiness checks, troubleshooting AV issues during live events, coordinating vendors and venues, and improving event documentation and operational playbooks.

What you will do
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-visual, conferencing, streaming, and production equipment for meetings, events, broadcasts, and hybrid experiences.
- Support live streaming and video production activities to deliver reliable, high-quality events.
- Conduct pre-event technical checks, risk assessments, equipment readiness reviews, site visits, venue inspections, event setup, live execution, and post-event breakdown.
- Assist with event plans, timelines, checklists, run-of-show documentation, budgets, and post-event reporting.
- Coordinate vendors, venues, equipment, transportation, room layouts, seating, lighting, AV requirements, permits, licenses, and supporting documentation.
- Provide on-site support to stakeholders, presenters, vendors, and attendees while gathering feedback and contributing to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Media Production, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in AV operations and event support.
- Hands-on experience with cameras, microphones, lighting, projectors, displays, and related production technologies.
- Experience with video conferencing, collaboration, and live streaming platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or Twitch.
- Understanding of media and streaming standards including H.264, H.265, AAC, Dolby Digital, RTMP, HLS, DASH, HD, Full HD, and 4K.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and coordinate with vendors, venues, internal teams, and stakeholders.
