Test Engineer Trainee

Location: Kazakhstan — office-based in Almaty or remote for Astana residents

What you will do

• Practice software testing on a training project under the guidance of experienced tutors.
• Apply testing theory to web and mobile applications.
• Use SQL to support testing activities.
• Complete knowledge checks and incorporate mentor feedback.
• Prepare to transition to a commercial project after successful training.

Requirements

• English: Intermediate level or higher, including verbal communication.
• Good knowledge of software testing theory.
• Understanding of SQL.
• Understanding of web and mobile applications.
• No professional work experience is required.

Nice to have

• Technical background.
• Programming experience.
• Completed testing courses.
• Intermediate or higher German.
