Software Developer - Fullstack

Location: Buffalo Grove or Downtown Chicago, Illinois; initial training must be completed in Buffalo Grove.

What you will do

• Build processes and technical solutions supporting infrastructure, data management, monitoring, and deployment.
• Develop scalable solutions that keep pace with customer demand and current product availability.
• Translate user stories into technical solutions and define deployment tasks and approaches.
• Participate in Scrum and Agile ceremonies, including development stand-ups.
• Coordinate with Pricing, Product, eCommerce, Marketing, IT leaders, and business leaders.
• Verify that continuous integration and deployment operate as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in a high-level language such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
• Experience with data movement, Linux, systems integration, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with relational databases, including MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and the ability to work in a Scrum environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a STEM field.
• Portfolio website or GitHub account showcasing current projects.

Nice to have

• SQLAlchemy experience.
• ETL experience.
• Master’s degree.
