Palo Alto Networks Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Georgia

What you will do

• Troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks products and coordinate with the vendor’s technical support team.
• Provide first-line technical support for customers and partners while supporting sales growth through technical expertise.
• Communicate with Palo Alto Networks engineering teams, partners, customers, and hirify.global teams.
• Research product documentation and knowledge bases to resolve customer and partner cases within SLAs and KPIs.
• Build and use lab environments to test Palo Alto Networks hardware and software and reproduce troubleshooting scenarios.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and updating of Palo Alto Networks information security systems.

Requirements

• Higher technical education and at least 2 years of experience in IT or a related sector.
• Fluent Georgian and Russian; English at B1 level or above.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and network topology.
• Understanding of cybersecurity products and the technical problems they solve.
• Experience with information security hardware from Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, or Juniper.
• Experience with NGFW, VPN, URL filtering, IoT Security, Endpoint Protection, DNS Security, and Cloud Security, including administration, testing, configuration, or support.

Nice to have

• Engineering certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with a systems integrator, distributor, or large enterprise client.
