Compliance Analyst (Payments/AML)

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and conduct regulatory compliance assessments and audits.
• Monitor regulatory developments, including Bank of Greece acts, EU directives and guidelines, and payment-scheme mandates.
• Investigate suspected money laundering and terrorist financing reports and perform transaction monitoring.
• Conduct due diligence for new and existing partners, including documentation reviews, investigations, submissions, and coordination calls.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory reporting, remediation activities, and compliance management information.
• Develop compliance policies, procedures, analysis models, and business requirements in collaboration with finance, IT, product, technical, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in compliance or audit, preferably in payments or financial services.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Professional attitude, strong personal ethics, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Additional language skills.
• Expertise in one or more payment networks or regulatory bodies, such as Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, or Discover.
