Junior Legal Counsel (Fintech)

What you will do

• Report to the Head of Legal Greece and provide legal support to business units and project teams.
• Analyze commercial contract needs for payment services, POS, gateway, and acquiring agreements.
• Negotiate licenses, service agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures across local affiliates.
• Conduct legal research and prepare information notes for Greek management.
• Monitor regulations affecting the Merchant Services business and support corporate governance matters.

Requirements

• Legal degree and active license to practice law in Greece.
• Three years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in an international IT or banking environment.
• Experience with complex IT partnerships or PSP contracts, including public procurement processes.
• Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, payment services, and banking regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken legal and business English.
• Strong organizational, writing, interpersonal, collaboration, and autonomous working skills, with a practical and detail-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Experience working with lawyers and business functions across Europe, LATAM, and Asia.
