Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Tel Aviv, Israel

hirify.global builds an AI English tutor that provides on-demand conversation, immediate feedback, and guidance toward fluency.

What you will do

• Build and ship features for the AI English tutor web experience, acquisition funnels, business dashboards, SEO initiatives, and the company site.
• Translate Figma designs into accurate, responsive, performant user interfaces.
• Extend and improve the internal component library.
• Collaborate directly with designers, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders to shape features.
• Improve web and mobile-web performance, including load time, rendering, and bundle size.
• Own test coverage, make technical tradeoffs, and use AI coding tools in daily development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience, ideally with high-traffic consumer products.
• Production experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Strong CSS Modules and modern CSS skills, including Grid, animations, transitions, and custom properties.
• Experience with Figma-to-code implementation and internal component libraries or design systems.
• Understanding of web and mobile-web performance, testing, and end-to-end testing with Playwright.
• Strong communication, product sense, and willingness to work with backend and Python codebases when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with a headless CMS such as Strapi.
• Familiarity with A/B testing tools such as Statsig, LaunchDarkly, GrowthBook, or PostHog.
• Familiarity with analytics and tracking infrastructure, including Mixpanel and attribution.
