What you will do

• Teach statistical theory, biostatistics, bioinformatics, research methods, study design, data analysis, and scientific reporting.
• Deliver coursework for MD and MBS programs, scholarly activities, co-curricular workshops, and faculty development programs.
• Provide statistical and data analysis support through the Office of Medical Education Data Analysis Lab.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, research staff, and clinical partners on qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research aligned with institutional strategic priorities.
• Manage administrative responsibilities associated with teaching and research support.

Requirements

• Terminal doctorate in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience applying biostatistics, epidemiology, and data analysis to basic science and/or medicine in an academic or research institution.
• Experience with statistical theory, study design, data analysis, interpretation of quantitative findings, and scientific reporting.
• Ability to work on campus in Colton, California.

Nice to have

• PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related field.
• Prior teaching experience at a medical school.
