TL;DR
AFCAP V: Contingent Large Area Maintenance Shelter Specialist (Large Area Maintenance Shelters): Setting up, maintaining, repairing, and dismantling LAMS/BEAR structures in Qatar with an accent on equipment coordination, inventory control, technical troubleshooting, and safety compliance. Focus on supervising shelter activities, interpreting drawings and schematics, maintaining operational readiness, and supporting contingency operations across the Middle East.

Location: Doha, Qatar; travel to additional locations in the Middle East

hirify.global provides ongoing support and operations services to the United States Air Force through its AFCAP V program.

What you will do

  • Inspect, install, operate, maintain, repair, and dismantle large area maintenance shelters and related systems.
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, and personnel required for shelter activities.
  • Lead and supervise personnel and provide technical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Manage the inventory, storage, maintenance, and records for tools and equipment.
  • Ensure shelter operations follow safety regulations, procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in contingency conditions, with possible overtime, shift work, and frequent travel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of related experience, including 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics.
  • U.S. citizenship and a current U.S. driver's license required.
  • Valid U.S. Secret security clearance required.
  • Passport book with at least 13 months of validity and six blank visa or stamp pages required.

Nice to have

  • Military experience in a contingency environment.
  • Experience working with government contracts.
  • Certification or advanced training in maintenance and repair of large area shelters or similar structures.
