Linux Administrator (Ops) (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Cyprus, with 3 days per week from the office in Limassol or Larnaca. Flexible start time before 12:00 pm EET/EEST.

What you will do

• Administer Ubuntu Linux servers across development and production environments.
• Manage PostgreSQL, Greenplum, KeyDB, ClickHouse and Kafka, troubleshooting performance and reliability issues.
• Maintain infrastructure services including Nginx, Jenkins, GitLab CI, DataHub, Allure and Airflow.
• Automate operational tasks with Ansible, Python and Bash, and support Docker, Kubernetes and Helm deployments.
• Monitor production systems, investigate incidents, improve reliability and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Support development teams and coordinate infrastructure changes, hardware provisioning and PCI DSS-related security practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Linux administration experience in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals, networking, system services and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Greenplum, Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible.
• Practical scripting skills with Python or Bash and experience with GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and profiling tools, particularly Prometheus and Grafana.
• Fluent Russian at C2 or higher is required; English at B1+ is required for technical documentation and written communication.

Nice to have

• DBA experience, Patroni, or experience with high-load and distributed production systems.
• Experience with AWS, OpenStack, PCI DSS or Chef.
• Experience reading or writing PHP or Go code.
