Senior Business Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus; hybrid model with work from home and the office

Salary: EUR 35,710–57,140 per year

What you will do

• Lead requirements elicitation and management for credit card migration programmes, greenfield client launches, and major system upgrades.
• Own the requirements phase, including documentation, analysis, management, validation, and solution design.
• Lead and coordinate Business Analysts in a matrix-management structure, assigning and monitoring project work.
• Partner with senior hirify.global and client stakeholders to establish governance, maintain relationships, and agree on best-practice solutions.
• Guide clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle, remove delivery barriers, and direct resources.
• Provide product and system consultancy, explain solution functionality, manage expectations, and recommend appropriate usage.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in business requirements analysis, elicitation, documentation, and validation for software projects.
• Experience in the card payments industry and in client advisory or consultancy roles in IT.
• Experience leading and managing Business Analysts in a matrix environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with business and IT stakeholders and define, understand, and evaluate requirements.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills; flexibility to travel to client premises.

Nice to have

• Understanding of data structures and experience with hirify.global PRIME or similar card management systems.
• Experience with large-scale portfolio conversions, product launches, and end-user-focused delivery.
• IIBA or BCS business analysis qualification or progress toward one.
• Experience using common AI tools.
