Business Analyst Senior (Card Payments)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus; hybrid model with part of the work from home and part from the office

Salary: EUR 38,570–50,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and own requirements elicitation sessions for moderately complex client engagements.
• Provide business subject matter expertise and product consultancy to clients, explaining system features and functionality.
• Manage scope, client expectations, delivery outcomes, risks, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Conduct business and technical assessments, perform gap analysis, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Create business requirements documents and parameterisation workbooks aligned with the agreed scope.
• Participate in solution walkthroughs and ensure technical delivery remains aligned with approved requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business requirements analysis, gathering, documentation, and validation for software projects.
• Experience in client advisory or consultancy roles within an IT environment.
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency with productivity and documentation tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Clear communication and the ability to work with both business and IT stakeholders to define and evaluate requirements.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills; flexibility to travel to client premises.

Nice to have

• Experience in the card payments industry or with hirify.global PRIME or similar card management systems.
• Understanding of data structures and experience with large-scale projects such as portfolio conversions or product launches.
• Business analysis certification or training, such as IIBA or BCS.
• Experience using common AI tools.
