What you will do

• Define and drive the System Testing & Certification strategy in line with product requirements and the R&D roadmap.
• Lead system validation, qualification, type testing, and certification activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop and manage Validation Plans (DVP&R), Qualification Programs, and Certification Plans according to IEC, ISO, UL, EMC, electrical safety, environmental, and reliability requirements.
• Maintain traceability between product requirements, validation activities, test results, issues, and certification evidence.
• Drive risk-based validation, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective-action verification.
• Lead and develop the Testing & Certification team while coordinating engineering teams, external laboratories, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in testing, validation, qualification, and certification environments.
• Experience in power electronics, EV charging infrastructure, automotive, or another regulated industry.
• Hands-on experience with V-Model-based product development and strong knowledge of validation methodologies and DVP&R development.
• Deep understanding of international standards and regulatory frameworks, including IEC, ISO, UL, EMC, electrical safety, environmental, and reliability testing.
• Fluent English, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple development programs.

Nice to have

• German and/or Italian language skills.
• Familiarity with modern laboratory equipment, automated testing environments, and data-driven validation approaches.
• Project and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Total compensation starting from €74,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement.
