TL;DR
Senior Engineer, Autonomy Software Integration & Test (C++/Python): Developing, integrating, and testing autonomy software for fixed-wing, multirotor, and other unmanned systems with an accent on flight-system integration, hardware-software troubleshooting, and field operations. Focus on building test infrastructure and telemetry pipelines, supporting SIL/HIL/VIL and live flight testing, and solving complex issues across onboard compute, radios, networking, sensors, and flight controllers.
Location: Kyiv region, Ukraine; on-site, with travel to other locations within Ukraine as required

What you will do
- Develop, debug, and maintain production-quality autonomy software in C++ and Python.
- Integrate autonomy software with fixed-wing, multirotor, and other unmanned or autonomous platforms.
- Build internal tools, automation, telemetry analysis pipelines, and test infrastructure.
- Support software bring-up, system configuration, mission readiness, and Ground Control Station operations.
- Perform simulation, SIL, HIL, VIL, ground, and live flight testing, including field demonstrations.
- Analyze flight and system data, troubleshoot cross-disciplinary issues, and support root-cause analysis and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of software development and integration experience in robotics, autonomy, aerospace, embedded systems, or related fields.
- Strong C++ and Python software engineering skills, including debugging and system integration.
- Experience with Linux-based development environments and hands-on hardware-software integration.
- Experience with field or flight testing, demonstrations, operational exercises, and debugging systems involving networking, sensors, radios, onboard compute, and mission systems.
- Ability to work on-site in the Kyiv region and travel within Ukraine as required. Ukrainian and English proficiency is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with MAVLink, PX4, ArduPilot, QGroundControl, ROS, DDS, embedded systems, or real-time systems.
- Experience with RF communications, datalinks, networking, flight controllers, avionics, or aircraft integration.
- Background in defense, robotics, aerospace, autonomous aircraft, or unmanned systems.
- Experience supporting live flight demonstrations, operational deployments, simulation, or flight-test environments.
