NodeJS Tech Lead (Node.js)

Location: Remote, based in Portugal. Candidates must be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit. EU-based candidates may apply if willing to relocate to Portugal.

What you will do

• Lead Node.js backend development for client projects.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design and integrate GraphQL solutions.
• Work with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Use AWS and/or GCP cloud services and Git-based version control.
• Apply problem-solving, debugging, leadership, and communication skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with deep Node.js knowledge.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and GraphQL solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher and eligibility to work from Portugal are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
