Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js)

Location: Helsinki, Finland; hybrid work with weekly office attendance required

Salary: €6,000–7,500 per month, depending on experience

What you will do

• Build and ship product features end-to-end across frontend and backend systems.
• Develop APIs, high-throughput event processing pipelines, flexible data visualization, and automation builder capabilities.
• Lead system architecture and development while ensuring reliable production operation.
• Define scope, evaluate trade-offs, and connect technical decisions to user and business impact.
• Own one or more subsystems and shape their technical direction, roadmap, and investment priorities.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience shipping scalable products end-to-end across frontend and backend.
• Likely 5+ years of experience, with emphasis on demonstrated impact and products built.
• Fluency in TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL databases or similar technologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in ambiguous situations and make product-oriented technical decisions.
• Interest in or experience with AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL, React architecture, or event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on GCP experience, such as Pub/Sub or BigQuery.
