Embedded Software Engineer Intern for Commercial and Special Vehicles (Automotive)

What you will do

• Participate in the development of software platforms for automotive electronic control units.
• Help provide application developers with a complete hardware abstraction layer.
• Contribute to platforms used across body control units, telematics, instrument clusters, and ADAS sensorics.
• Collaborate with an international team on software designed to reduce development costs, increase reliability, and support driver, passenger, and pedestrian safety.

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate or a final-year Bachelor's or Master's student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Theory, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Basic proficiency in C and/or C++ programming.
• Understanding of microcontrollers, digital and analog electronics, and embedded systems fundamentals.
• Good written and spoken English language skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of automotive protocols such as CAN communication.
• Familiarity with debugging tools including an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and CANoe.
• Understanding of automotive software architecture such as AUTOSAR.
• Knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and build tools such as CMake and Make.
