Embedded Software Engineer Intern for Commercial and Special Vehicles (Automotive)

What you will do

• Contribute to the development of software platforms for automotive electronic control units.
• Develop and maintain hardware abstraction capabilities for application developers.
• Support standardized platforms used across body control units, telematics, instrument clusters, and ADAS sensorics.
• Collaborate with an international team on software for commercial and special vehicles.
• Contribute to solutions focused on reducing development costs, increasing reliability, and improving vehicle safety.

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate or a student in the final years of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Theory, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Basic proficiency in C and/or C++.
• Understanding of microcontrollers, digital and analog electronics, and embedded systems fundamentals.
• Good written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of automotive protocols such as CAN communication.
• Familiarity with debugging tools including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and CANoe.
• Understanding of automotive software architectures such as AUTOSAR.
• Knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and build tools such as CMake and Make.
