DevOps & Platform Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, safe deployments.
• Own the Azure infrastructure layer, including environments, configuration, secrets, and networking.
• Manage Docker-based workloads using Azure managed services.
• Set up and maintain logging, metrics, and alerting, and diagnose live production issues.
• Execute database and schema migrations with reliable rollback paths.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on the pod's data platform and document operational foundations for production teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar DevOps or platform engineering role.
• End-to-end production ownership of CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Azure managed services.
• Practical observability experience, including diagnosing live incidents.
• Experience running production database or schema migrations, including failure recovery.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team without a large platform function.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or Bicep.
• Fintech or other regulated-environment experience.
• Exposure to modern data tools such as dbt or Snowflake.
• Interest in agentic or AI-assisted development workflows.
• Experience documenting decisions through ADRs, runbooks, or incident write-ups.
