Junior Risk Officer (Environmental Commodities)

What you will do

• Monitor market, credit, and operational risks across renewable commodities trading desks.
• Support the Front Office with trade approvals, counterparty credit checks, and FX exposure hedging.
• Maintain and improve risk tools and reports in collaboration with the development team.
• Perform risk analyses and reporting using Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
• Build risk awareness across departments and contribute to projects improving business insights and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in risk, finance, financial markets, or energy trading; ambitious graduates are welcome.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
• Excellent command of English required.
• Analytical, proactive, hands-on, ethical, and eager to learn in a fast-paced trading environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Spanish.
