Software Engineer, Activations (MANTL)

Location: Remote within the United States. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment.

Salary: $130,000–$145,000 per year.

What you will do

• Improve the process of bringing new clients into production within the Activations squad.
• Integrate the platform with clients’ core provider APIs.
• Enhance third-party integrations for checkbook ordering, ACH transfers, and other product services.
• Work with clients to understand nuances in their online account-opening processes.
• Partner with the product team to incorporate client-specific requirements into the system.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience building backend services and APIs.
• Experience with Node.js, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with system design and the ability to communicate and advocate for architectural decisions.
• Strong technical and communication skills, including self-management and estimation.
• Ability to write clean, documented, well-tested code with attention to performance, error handling, logging, and edge cases.
