Manager, Security Operations Center - EMEA (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote UK

Salary: £94,500–£1,150,000 base annually, plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Design, implement, and enforce processes, workflows, playbooks, and operating standards for regional and global SOC operations.
• Manage shift coverage to maintain 24/7, 365-day operations and support response-time objectives.
• Lead weekly one-to-one meetings, provide feedback, and support analyst training, career progression, and technical development.
• Coordinate with Product, Support, Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams to improve workflows and operational capabilities.
• Maintain regional quality assurance, track objectives and key results, and report on SOC initiatives.
• Represent the organization in webinars and in-person public speaking engagements.

Requirements

• Experience leading diverse cybersecurity teams across Security Operations, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering.
• 5+ years of Security Analyst experience in a global 24/7 SOC, with a focus on Windows forensics.
• 2+ years of team lead or managerial experience in a global operations center or Incident Response role, preferably at an MSSP, MDR provider, or Incident Response service.
• Experience creating process diagrams and operating procedures, delegating initiatives, and maintaining accountability for delivery.
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to stakeholders with different technical backgrounds.
• Data-driven approach with experience in Data Science concepts and ongoing knowledge of threat actor tradecraft, detection techniques, and security operations.
