What you will do

• Develop thumbnail and rough storyboard panels from scripts or descriptions, depicting action, camera placement, staging, and acting.
• Create drawings ranging from quick sketches to detailed storyboard panels for assigned sequences.
• Pitch storyboards and creative ideas to directors, the Head of Story, crew members, and executives.
• Revise, edit, and modify sequences while maintaining the show’s visual style, continuity, dialogue, and pacing.
• Identify and resolve story and structure problems, improving the entertainment value of sequences.
• Supervise the story team by conducting interviews, recommending hires, and providing feedback to artists.

Requirements

• Strong draftsmanship with a sense of design, appeal, and composition.
• Experience working across action, comedy, and drama sequences in comic, realistic, and highly stylized formats.
• Strong writing, character acting, staging, composition, and cinematography skills.
• Ability to draw characters and environments on model and write clear, specific storyboard directions.
• Ability to manage time efficiently, work independently, collaborate effectively, and respond to direction and change.
• Knowledge of Cintiq, Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, and Photoshop.
