Middle iOS Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Buenos Aires, CABA/AMBA, Argentina

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain robust iOS components, screens, modules, and sub-assemblies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional developers and product managers to translate requirements into scalable mobile solutions.
• Maintain production applications, fix bugs, and deliver new features throughout the application lifecycle.
• Refine specifications and reuse existing components while maintaining code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
• Create and update architecture documentation, inline comments, and functional specifications.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to engineering standards and technology-stack evolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering and native mobile development experience.
• Deep proficiency in native iOS development with Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience across the full application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, release, and support.
• Strong skills in unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving, active listening, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proactive approach to technical innovation, experimentation, continuous improvement, team OKRs, and knowledge sharing.

Nice to have

• Experience building rapid prototypes during technical scoping.
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for clean, intuitive mobile interfaces.
• Familiarity with architectural documentation and engineering guidelines.
