Frontend Software Engineering Intern 2027 (React)

Location: On-site at hirify.global HQ in San Mateo, California, United States; available during winter or summer 2027

Estimated hourly pay: $55–$65 USD per hour, plus a monthly housing stipend

What you will do

• Build product experiences for the Command web platform using React.
• Develop features for mobile applications with React Native.
• Lead frontend projects from design through implementation.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to create polished customer-facing features.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site at hirify.global HQ in San Mateo during winter or summer 2027.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with graduation by June 2028.
• Internship experience developing and launching products.
• Experience building reusable components, using CSS preprocessors, and creating pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, including contexts, prototypes or classes, and closures.
• Experience with a modern web framework such as React, Angular, or Vue, plus strong attention to design and product details.
