Relief Pharmacist (Dual Licensed)

Location: Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; travel to various pharmacy locations is required according to the Relief Pharmacist program schedule.

Salary: CAD 48.00–64.50 per hour, based on relevant experience.

What you will do

• Support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations.
• Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, and hospitals, then fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• Counsel patients on pharmaceutical products and provide eligible services, including medication reviews and injections.
• Maintain proper pharmaceutical product storage, operate pharmacy equipment, and follow established OBWs and SOPs.
• Protect patient privacy and comply with provincial regulatory requirements.
• Build collaborative relationships with district managers, healthcare providers, clinics, and other store stakeholders.

Requirements

• Pharmacist License required.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to travel to various locations and follow schedules set by the Relief program coordinator.
• Ability to operate pharmacy equipment, including the register and computer system.
• Ability to follow provincial regulations and Relief Pharmacist program requirements.
