TL;DR
Senior Risk Manager (GRC) (AI Governance) (ERM/GRC): Strengthening enterprise risk management, operational resilience, business continuity, and AI Governance practices across business, product, and service teams with an accent on risk registers, mitigation planning, and EU technology regulation. Focus on classifying AI systems under the EU AI Act, preparing organizations for incidents and crises, and delivering risk insights for governance forums.

Location: Hybrid work model with the option to work remotely or from the Kyiv coworking hub.

What you will do

  • Maintain and develop enterprise risk registers covering business, product, facilities, and company-wide risks.
  • Work with risk owners to create mitigation plans and integrate them into team priorities and OKRs.
  • Strengthen Business Continuity Planning, operational resilience, incident preparedness, and crisis management.
  • Support AI Governance through AI system inventory, classification under the EU AI Act, and reviews of new AI use cases.
  • Support information security and company-wide audits, including SOC2 and ISO-related activities.
  • Prepare risk reporting and insights for internal governance forums, including the Risk Committee.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Enterprise Risk Management, GRC, or risk management, preferably in technology, SaaS, product, or high-growth companies.
  • Experience building or maturing ERM frameworks, risk registers, and practical risk mitigation plans.
  • Hands-on experience with Business Continuity Planning, operational resilience, and crisis management.
  • Working knowledge of EU technology regulation and AI Governance, including the EU AI Act, GDPR, CRA, ISO/IEC 42001, or NIST AI RMF.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, data-driven reporting, and business-oriented decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and spoken English at B2+ level, with confidence communicating with international stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with European, UK, or US regulatory and corporate governance practices.
  • Experience preparing risk reports for senior leadership or an independent Board of Directors.
  • Professional certifications in risk management, business continuity, information security, or compliance.
