Software Engineer Principal (Fintech)

What you will do

• Align business strategy with software solutions.
• Design and code solutions for complex business needs.
• Oversee the required technical and procedural documentation.
• Lead complex problem-solving efforts and provide technical guidance to colleagues.
• Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business capabilities.
• Support customer-focused decisions and effective management of business risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge of application design, software development life cycle, packaged application integration, and technical troubleshooting.
• Experience with software process improvement, product and vendor evaluation, and release management.
• Ability to work in the Pittsburgh office; this is an in-office position.
