What you will do
- Deliver daily learning for Playgroup through Grade 2 students within a teaching team, with a focus on Kiswahili instruction.
- Plan lesson activities, schemes of work, teaching aids, games, and experiential learning projects.
- Provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment while supervising children during learning and play.
- Assess, observe, and record student progress, providing reports to school leaders and parents.
- Participate in extracurricular programmes and help organize competitions, concerts, school plays, culture days, and other school events.
- Attend professional meetings, conferences, and teacher training workshops, and support daily school operations including bus loading and unloading.
Requirements
- TSC certificate required.
- Relevant degree in Education, P1 Diploma, or P1 Certificate.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience.
- Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, flexibility, problem-solving ability, and openness to feedback.
- Interest in developing leadership skills and contributing to the development of African youth.

Hiring process

- Written task or practical demonstration; teachers also attend a half-day selection day and deliver a lesson.
