Member of Operational Staff (Computer Vision)

Location: Fully distributed and remote-friendly; work from home, coworking spaces, or hirify.global Hubs. The Frontier Data team is headquartered in San Francisco, with Hubs in New York City, San Francisco, Singapore, and Brazil.

Salary: $150,000–$300,000 annual base compensation, depending on experience and level.

What you will do

• Own delivery from partner intake through scoping, execution, quality review, and final shipment.
• Translate requirements from researchers and engineers at leading AI labs into concrete data product specifications.
• Build processes that make quality measurable, visible, and consistently enforced.
• Plan and manage capacity across contributor and reviewer networks.
• Identify recurring manual work and collaborate with engineers to automate it.

Requirements

• Practical experience with agents, evaluations, or reinforcement learning workflows.
• Exceptional organization, judgment, and communication skills.
• High ownership, strong agency, and a bias toward action.
• Ability to work directly with researchers, engineers, and partner-facing stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data labeling or annotation operations.
• Experience with evaluations or machine learning training data pipelines.

Hiring process
