Java Developer (Banking)

Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of one day per week in a modern office in Warsaw, Poland

Salary: Up to 110 PLN net/hour on a B2B contract, depending on experience

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core banking applications and services.
• Implement new features and modify existing applications.
• Design architectural solutions and assess technical options.
• Create unit and integration tests.
• Ensure software performance, security, reliability, and overall quality.
• Participate in project design phases and document implemented code.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in object-oriented programming.
• Strong knowledge of Java SE 17 or newer and the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Integration.
• Commercial frontend development experience with React.
• Good understanding of relational databases and integration standards including REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• Higher education in IT or a related field, with strong analytical thinking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP, including BigQuery, CloudSQL, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, or Google Pub/Sub.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes Engine, or Anthos.
• Previous experience with Campaign Management projects.
