Location: Eldoret, Kenya; on-site at NP Eldoret Primary

What you will do

  • Plan and deliver daily curriculum-based activities for Playgroup through Grade 2 students.
  • Create a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom with the resident teacher.
  • Lead games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, creative play, and motor-skill activities.
  • Assess and document student progress, adapt teaching methods, and prepare written reports for school leaders and parents.
  • Supervise classroom projects, field trips, guest visits, and other experiential learning activities.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, instructional coaching, teacher training, and bus loading and unloading.

Requirements

  • TSC certification and a Degree in Education or P1 Diploma required.
  • 1–3 years of teaching experience.
  • Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility, problem-solving ability, and openness to feedback and change.
  • Desire to develop leadership skills and support the transformation of African youth.

Hiring process

  • Phone interview.
  • Written task or practical demonstration, including a half-day selection day and lesson delivery for teachers.
