Senior Medical Director, Solid Tumors, International (Oncology): Representing International Medical Affairs within Global Program Teams and shaping oncology development, evidence-generation, regulatory and launch-readiness strategies with an accent on solid-tumor science, international stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on translating medical insights into strategic recommendations, identifying evidence gaps, building external partnerships and aligning teams across Europe, Canada and Japan.

Location: Morges, Switzerland. The role works across Europe, Canada and Japan and involves international travel.

What you will do

  • Represent International Medical Affairs within Global Program Teams and bring regional insights into global development strategies.
  • Partner with Global colleagues in the US and cross-functional teams across Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Market Access and Medical Communications.
  • Shape development, regulatory and evidence-generation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Build relationships with oncology experts, scientific societies and other external stakeholders.
  • Lead scientific engagement through expert meetings, advisory boards, congresses and digital channels.
  • Identify evidence gaps and contribute to publication planning, investigator-sponsored research and International Medical studies.

Requirements

  • MD, PhD or Pharmacy degree.
  • Significant global Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong scientific expertise in oncology; solid-tumor experience is highly valued.
  • Experience collaborating with Key External Experts, scientific societies and international stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate scientific evidence into practical strategic recommendations, with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, a collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, constructive challenge and fluency in English.
