QA Engineer - Backend (Golang) Middle (Fintech)

Location: Worldwide, remote or from one of the offices; team working hours are within GMT+1 to GMT+5. Relocation support is available to hubs in Cyprus, Serbia, Georgia, or Kazakhstan.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, create test scenarios, and prepare test data.
• Perform mostly automated acceptance and regression testing for high-load feed services and connected mobile interfaces.
• Write and maintain automated tests in Go and develop the test project and frameworks.
• Detect, localize, and report defects using an issue-tracking system.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and coordinate integration testing.
• Communicate with the product team during development and participate in releases.

Requirements

• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation.
• Programming experience with Go, Java, Kotlin, or Python, including backend test automation.
• Experience with Git or another version control system and SQL.
• Experience with message queues, especially Kafka.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests, test frameworks, and CI/CD integrations.
• English at B1 or higher is required for communication with an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC and Protobuf.
• Experience with Allure Go and Gomega.
• Load-testing experience.
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
