DataWatcher Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role in the St. Louis office, United States

Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 total compensation per year

What you will do

• Lead and manage a frontline SOC/MSSP analyst team, including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, evaluations, mentoring, and training.
• Oversee shift scheduling, operational coverage, escalations, and 24x7x365 service delivery.
• Act as a hands-on technical escalation point for complex customer issues, alerts, and cyber incidents.
• Develop standard operating procedures and use AI, Python, PowerShell, and automation to improve analyst productivity.
• Lead customer-facing meetings, incident response efforts, KPI/KRI reporting, QBRs, and remediation planning.
• Support customer onboarding, platform integration, tuning, configuration, problem resolution, renewals, and expansions.

Requirements

• Direct operational experience in a Security Operations Center or Managed Security Service Provider environment.
• At least 10 years of experience in technical SOC/MSSP roles and at least 5 years in SOC/MSSP management.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, ASM, and similar technologies.
• Experience identifying, triaging, and resolving cyber incidents.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup from the St. Louis office.
• Strong technical, analytical, written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
