Test Analyst (Game QA)

Location: Onsite in the Liverpool office 5 days per week

What you will do

• Support development partners with grey box testing using development tools and game engines.
• Embed with development teams, build relationships, and provide bespoke QA support throughout the project life cycle.
• Own, lead, and delegate testing tasks within assigned feature areas.
• Apply advanced test techniques, tools, and automation, and influence feature-level testing strategy.
• Escalate risks and challenges, document project information, and coordinate with the wider PlayStation Studios QA team.
• Promote QA best practices and collaborate with teams, studios, and vendor partners.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the game development life cycle, terminology, and concepts.
• Ability to communicate proactively across different levels and disciplines while working collaboratively.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and set testing activities and priorities.
• Awareness of risk, mitigation, and escalation methods.
• Ability to gather information, provide feedback, and review other people’s work and processes.
• Commitment to continuous learning in game development and quality assurance.
