Test Analysts (Game QA)

Location: Onsite in Liverpool, United Kingdom, 5 days per week

What you will do

• Support development partners with grey-box testing using development tools and game engines.
• Embed with development teams, build relationships, and provide developer support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Own, lead, and delegate testing tasks within an assigned feature area.
• Use advanced testing techniques, tools, and automation, and influence feature-level testing strategy.
• Escalate risks and challenges, document project information, and support the wider hirify.global Studios QA strategy.
• Collaborate across projects, studios, and vendor partners to share best practices and maintain QA procedures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the game development lifecycle, terminology, and concepts.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across levels and disciplines.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, prioritize testing activities, and operate without detailed instruction.
• Understanding of risk, mitigation, and escalation methods.
• Ability to gather information, provide feedback on features, review work and processes, and represent QA to developers, producers, and stakeholders.
• Availability to work onsite in the Liverpool office 5 days per week.
