Accounting Analyst (Semi-Senior)

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina; hybrid schedule with one day onsite and four days remote per week.

What you will do

• Record economic transactions in the accounting system and other platforms.
• Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliations and consolidations.
• Handle sales, franchise, income tax, and other compliance-related filings.
• Support audits by communicating with auditors and providing requested samples.
• Participate in AR and AP activities, including delinquency follow-ups, vendor and customer setup, and recording inflows and outflows.
• Process new sales orders and contracts, manage cash across several platforms, update reports, and respond to requests from internal teams, clients, and vendors.

Requirements

• Completed or actively pursuing a CPA designation or related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel functions.
• Working knowledge of accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
• Exposure to audits, sales and income tax, and other compliance basics.
• Strong attention to detail when handling repetitive work or large amounts of data.
• Critical thinking skills for analyzing data, identifying trends and anomalies, and connecting related events.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Salesforce contracts.
• Familiarity with banking and payment portals such as Stripe, PayPal, and Airwallex.
