What you will do
- Lead portfolio strategy, product positioning, lifecycle decisions, and product pipeline management for the China formulation business.
- Define and deliver product, brand, innovation, development, registration, and formulation technology priorities.
- Manage launch readiness, campaigns, branding, communications, and external partnerships.
- Support global portfolio and innovation projects by leveraging Chinese production and active ingredient innovation.
- Oversee development and regulatory activities for global projects and maintain connections with local Chinese companies.
- Align China commercial leadership with global portfolio, innovation, technical, and third-party functions.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in crop protection or agribusiness, including marketing, strategy, or business development.
- Proven management experience leading, coaching, and scaling high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Deep knowledge of the Chinese agricultural market and regulatory landscape.
- Significant experience in global organizations and complex matrix structures.
- Understanding of product development, formulation, and registration lifecycles; an agronomy or agricultural science background is advantageous.
- Fluent, executive-level English and Mandarin, both written and verbal, are required.
