Frontend Developer (AngularJS)

Location: Minsk, Belarus; remote or hybrid work format

Salary: up to $3,500 per month before taxes

What you will do

• Support and develop a large enterprise application built with AngularJS 1.x, JSP, Bootstrap, and a Java backend.
• Implement new features and maintain existing frontend functionality.
• Develop AngularJS controllers, services, factories, filters, scopes, routing, forms, and custom directives.
• Integrate AngularJS applications with JSP pages and backend-provided data.
• Build responsive interfaces with Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and SASS/SCSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams on a mission-critical system.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience developing and maintaining AngularJS 1.5+ applications.
• Deep understanding of AngularJS architecture, including the digest cycle, scopes, data binding, directives, routing, forms, asynchronous requests, and error handling.
• Ability to read and modify JSP pages, including AngularJS embedding, JSP includes, tags, and backend-to-frontend data transfer.
• Strong JavaScript knowledge covering ES5/ES6, closures, prototypes, promises, modules, and browser debugging.
• Strong HTML5, semantic markup, accessibility, CSS3, flexbox, responsive design, and SASS/SCSS skills.
• Experience with CVS and its basic commands and workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, React, Vue, TypeScript, Angular, or Jira.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.
