Experienced Norwegian Payroll Specialist in Spain

Location: Fully remote from Malaga, Granada, Madrid, or Barcelona, Spain

What you will do

• Manage the full payroll process for Norwegian clients, from data entry through tax reporting.
• Prepare bank files, calculate vacation pay, and ensure accurate payroll execution.
• Handle complex payroll queries and provide expert operational support.
• Collaborate with the payroll operations team to streamline processes and improve service quality.
• Contribute to the adoption of technology-based payroll solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing the complete payroll cycle.
• Norwegian proficiency at C2 level is required.
• English proficiency at B2 level is required.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian employment laws and payroll regulations.
• Proactive approach, resilience, growth mindset, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Payroll Engine, also known as G7.
