Location: Remote within the United States
Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD annually, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do
- Guide enterprise customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks deployments on AWS, from architecture and administration to production rollout.
- Design secure, scalable deployments using AWS networking, identity, encryption, compliance, and security controls.
- Build infrastructure automation solutions with infrastructure-as-code tools and support complex AWS environments.
- Demonstrate Databricks solutions in competitive technical engagements and drive platform adoption.
- Coordinate solution delivery across specialists, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Provide structured customer feedback to influence product direction.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
- Advanced expertise in AWS infrastructure, enterprise networking, identity management, platform administration, security, observability, disaster recovery, and cost management.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Strong Python and SQL skills, including live coding, debugging, and solution building.
- Experience designing distributed data systems, scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms.
- Ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders; willingness to travel up to 30%.
Nice to have
- Databricks or AWS certifications.
- Experience with Snowflake, AWS native services, or Azure Synapse.
- Background in a data and AI company or cloud provider.
