Senior SRE (Security/Telemetry)

What you will do

• Define and implement SLIs and SLOs for approximately 70 product components, ensuring security controls are effectively monitored.
• Design and build a robust telemetry pipeline to collect data from distributed agents on bare-metal servers.
• Develop symptom-based, SLO-anchored alerting systems to reduce noise and ensure actionable incidents.
• Establish escalation protocols and coach engineering squads to own their own on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to standardize health definitions and improve incident response mechanics.

Requirements

• Substantial production-engineering or SRE experience with a proven track record of defining SLO frameworks from scratch.
• Strong proficiency in Python and comfort reading/modifying Go or Rust code.
• Deep expertise in time-series telemetry (Prometheus, OpenMetrics) and high-cardinality data stores like ClickHouse.
• Experience with distributed systems debugging on bare metal and long-lived hosts.
• Excellent written communication skills for async collaboration and cross-team alignment.

Nice to have

• Background in security products such as WAF, EDR, or vulnerability management.
• Experience with monitoring under audit frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, eBPF, and agentic development tooling.
