Supervisor, Quality Operations (12 Hour Weekend Night Shift - Onsite) (Medical Devices)

Location: US - Massachusetts; onsite at the office, plant, or lab. Weekend night shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 pm–6:30 am.

Annual base salary: $73,800–$110,700, with potential incentive compensation and additional shift differential pay.

What you will do

• Hire, manage, train, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for Quality Technicians.
• Schedule team work, track daily metrics, and drive performance against business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain effective inspection and test procedures with Quality Engineers.
• Develop quality standards, recommend procedural changes, and support equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Review device history records, inspection records, non-conformances, and deviations.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects and approve Quality Technician work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of combined Quality Technician and/or supervisory experience.
• Experience in a regulated industry, including 21 CFR 820 Quality System Regulations and/or ISO 13485.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience, with the ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts.
• Strong verbal communication, technical writing, organization, prioritization, and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work onsite on the Friday–Sunday 12-hour night shift, stand for approximately 70% of the working time, occasionally lift up to 50 lb, and operate inspection tools and instrumentation.

Nice to have

• Education or experience in engineering, technical, or scientific disciplines.
• Experience creating and analyzing trend and Pareto charts.
• Lean Six Sigma, SPC, ASQ, or ISO process-control experience or certification.
• Experience with Microsoft software.
