Trading Systems Engineer (Crypto)

What you will do

• Establish production support, software deployment, configuration, and proactive monitoring processes for the trading ecosystem.
• Maintain the health and availability of trading systems, minimizing downtime and accelerating incident recovery.
• Respond to support requests from traders and software engineers.
• Work with exchanges, clearing firms, and other external trading partners to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with trading, development, infrastructure, QA, database, back-office, and business teams in a 24x7 support environment.
• Create documentation for operational procedures, troubleshooting scenarios, and system architecture.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the financial industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field.
• Experience with Python and Bash scripting, SQL, Linux, and command-line tools.
• Exposure to version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Experience with proprietary trading systems and troubleshooting production incidents involving software, markets, data feeds, or telecommunications.
• Strong communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to solve complex technical problems under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience developing process automation and monitoring tools for software configuration and rollout procedures.
• Experience supporting trading teams and working with traders, developers, and engineering teams.
